I launched Dal Ponte Bookkeeping with the goal of helping independent food and beverage operators to better understand their finances. I have served as the accounting manager for a $6M food and beverage company, where I managed the full accounting function end to end. I hold a master’s degree in accounting, and I have nearly a decade of progressive accounting experience.
I’ve seen firsthand how challenging accounting for food and beverage businesses can be. Multiple sales channels, perishable products, cash handling, tip payouts, and waste are just a few of many unique challenges that food and beverage businesses face on a daily basis. Finding a bookkeeper who understands these nuances is crucial to gaining an in-depth understanding of your business’ finances.
I believe that my knowledge and experience enables me to understand your business in a way that generalist bookkeepers simply can’t. In addition to my general accounting knowledge, I have extensive experience with food and beverage business operations, budgeting, and internal controls. I intentionally keep my focus narrow to ensure that I can provide the highest level of service and the clearest financial insights to my clients.
